Zions Public Finance has assisted many of our clients with the billing and collecting of special assessments as required by Special Assessment Bonds covenants. As ﬁnancial advisors, we have deemed it part of our responsibility to assist in the establishment of processes and systems to handle these functions after the bonds have been sold and closed.
This service also includes detailed reports to the issuer at least annually, and in some cases quarterly, showing what was billed, what was collected, late fees and penalties, accrued interest, properties in foreclosure, etc. We use special software created solely for special assessment administration.
